Welcome to the Electronic Manuscript Submission System for the Proceedings of
Microscopy and Microanalysis 2009. If this is your first time to the site or you are a return user from last year, please register. To download a Word template
to help you format your paper, click here.
All papers must be submitted in electronic format on
this site. Accepted papers will be published in the Proceedings, a supplement to Microscopy and
Microanalysis, the Society's journal. The Proceedings is comprised of a hardbound volume and a CD-ROM.
All papers will be included on the CD-ROM, with figures in full color. Selected papers will also be
featured in the hardbound volume, with the figures rendered as grayscale images.
The deadline for submissions is 5:00 p.m. PST on Sunday, February 15, 2009.
Papers received after that deadline will not be accepted.
You may submit your paper in PDF or Microsoft Word format. If your paper is in Microsoft Word format, it
will be converted to PDF by this system. You will be asked to approve the PDF conversion or to report any
problems. Only egregious
typographic errors introduced by the PDF conversion will be corrected by technical support.
PDF conversions that have not been approved by 5:00 p.m.
PST on Tuesday, February 17, 2009, will be considered approved.
